The Story Behind Reshaping the World

Over the past fifteen years or so Ann and I have been deeply involved in a spiritual journey that led us to the realization of the principle of unity- that is, that there is only one thing - energy-consciousness, and we are it! Both of us have come to this realization through slightly different paths, she as a channel and I as a psychotherapist and teacher.

After the national elections in 2004 we became painfully aware of the deepening division in our country (and the world) that seemed, in part, to arise out of a persistent insistence by certain groups to claim "God" as their own and therefore, that their particular point of view (whether religious or political) was the correct point of view and the absolute truth. This divisiveness became deeply painful to us and we started to think about ways to influence this dualistic thinking in a self-responsible way, instead of simply joining in on the my-way-is-the-right-way band wagon.

I had been hearing from a number of sources about a movie with a strange name. When I asked people who had seen it what it was about they had a hard time describing it and just kept saying, "You have to go see it. It's right up your alley." This intrigued me since I have long known that there are some experiences that are beyond language and beyond the mind's ability to wrap itself around in any logical or analytical way.

So I told Ann, and without really knowing too much about it, we went to see "What the Bleep Do We Know!?" (www.whatthebleep.com) There, on the big screen, were physicists, physicians, psychiatrists, a theologian, and a channel all talking about the principle of unity from their diverse perspectives. We both glanced at each other in the dark theater, smiled, and breathed a deep aaahhh. The movie also referred to the work of Dr. Masaru Emoto, (www.whatthebleep.com/crystals/) in which he demonstrated that thoughts affect physical reality by changing the crystalline structure of water through the use of different words and phrases placed on containers of water.

Shortly after seeing the movie for a second time Ann turned to me and said, "I know what we need to do. Since words can change water and we are mostly water, we are going to print messages of unity on t-shirts that will transform the way people feel about themselves and that is going to change the world. We are going to take back "god" for all people by wearing words to live by." In that moment the idea for Reshaping the World was born. We invited our nieces, Jennie and Kate, and our grandniece, Cora, to join us and then embarked upon this glorious adventure together.

Reshaping the World, LLC is a family owned and operated business dedicated to the principle of unity and the practice of self-awareness, self-acceptance, and self-responsibility. We hope that you will embark upon this adventure with us.
